If you are staying at this hotel, you are better off not ordering room service.
We ordered dinner ten minutes after the restaurant had opened and only a few guests had arrived to dine in at this point. We were told it would take about 30 minutes.
After one hour, I went back down to inquire about the food. I was told «they were so busy and had a lot to do»., no apologies made. About ten minutes later, the food arrived. This was about 40 minutes late and it was cold.
A cold Argentinian Entrecote at a price of almost 50 Euros! Now that makes me feel like an idiot for paying such an amount for a ruined steak.
We know that hotel prices are always inflated, and usually we dont order room service for this reason. However, on this occassion we travelled with our three year old who was sleeping and we wished to not wake him up just to dine in the restaurant.
The food was not terrible, except for the «sauteed» vegetables. They forgot the order at first, and it was brought up much too late. The «sauteed» vegetables were in reality a bag of frozen vegetables bought cheaply at the local supermarket.
For that price it is rather shameful that they would serve up something like that.
Finally I need to add that during our stay, I had an inquiriy about a situation I needed help with. Now I can understand that the hotel staff says no to help. What I have no understanding for, is when they do not care the least bit to help you find an alternative solution. I had to fix it myself.
