Good hotel
This is an old mansion reworked into a hotel. The beds and pillows and AC were very comfortable, indeed above the price level. The bathroom was small and the vanity mirror was beveled in an pretty but non-functional way, so that if you are height of an average woman, the wood frame splits right in the middle of your face. There was a make up magnifier mirror though. Nonetheless, I wonder if those who order furniture consider such things.

Love staying here. One area of coaching- the lunch waiter was bored, yawning loudly. Kind of weird. I never signed a check so I have no idea if he put his tip on? Also, the lobby smelled like really strong garlic or curry on Thursday for about 24 hours. Just a few things I noticed. Lovely front desk personnel!

We only stayed at this hotel for one night to attend a concert at Moody Center. The location was convenient - we took an Uber there and walked back. Wonderful find
What a gem of a place. It was clean, quiet and had great character. The location is incredibly convenient, and the service I received was excellent. Beautiful boutique hotel with an excellent staff. The porch was so nice to sit and just watch life go by. I did not try the pool but it was pretty to look at. I wasn't thrilled about the view from our room (trash dumpsters and really bad apartment complex) but the room was nice. The room had a refrigerator but not a microwave which would have been helpful. The toilet and shower head could use an upgrade :)
