Could have been better.
Constant beeping starting early morning due to lift for painters. Sauna, lobby and restaurant out of service due to renovations. Asked for towels twice. Housekeeping picked up towels and never brought any back. Positives: beach access, close to restaurants and other things in the area. Staff was friendly.

Amazing Hotel
I loved the hotel and the location was beyond what i expected. AMAZING! It was under construction but I just needed a place to sleep that was at a good location and clean. There were also a lot of good restaurants at walking distance

A work in Progress
The hotel is in the process of being renovated so there were several things going on. Our room was large and handicapped accessible. The shower needs better drainage because the floor got wet. There were missing base tiles in the bathroom. The room only had a free standing closet and the ironing board would not stand up properly so very dangerous when opening the door. We had a lovely patio facing the pool. The music was really loud for sitting out there. We had an issue with our key the second day which took awhile to be resolved. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful and gave us good recommendations for things. He was working at a makeshift desk due to the construction. The hotel will be lovely when finished and we would stay there again. It is close to the beach and has great possibilities.

Great value for a comfortable room.
We had the Executive King Room with a double balcony. The room was spacious and lovely. The bed was very comfortable. There was a fridge and a microwave and coffee pot. Walk in shower and bathroom nice. We were aware the hotel was under rebranding and therefore the restaurant was closed. As was the gym and sauna. The pool and hot tub appeared to be clean and open. However the weather was not suitable to use them. We are low maintenance people so we got nearly everything we needed. However, these were the negatives to staying there at this time. 1. Front desk staff was all but non existent. Other staff (maintenance and maid) were polite and pleasant. 2. Check in time was 1:00 pm , however our room wasn't available till after 4 pm. 3. There was no access to flatware or paper products. 4. The security latch on our door was missing the inner portion. 5. The latch on our door was broken. 6. A maid walked in our room mid afternoon while we were napping even though we had a Do Not disturb sign on the door, 7. Also one morning a maid entered our room for the sole purpose of picking up one dirty towel. Again even though we had stated directly to her we did no need our room serviced. and the sign was on the door.

Cover up construction
During our visit the hotel was under renovation which I can fully forgive for any additional dust and clutter. The issue I had was in the rooms that I was able to see during our visit. There was several areas that the drywall patching was incomplete and new cove base was installed over moldy and wet drywall. There was no light over the sink so the while area was dark but there was a table lamp that was plugged in near by that was not operational by a switch. The rooms felt “under construction” but were still used for visitors. It looks like an obvious attempt to hid the issues instead of correcting it so be cautious and aware if your stay is longer than a day or two.

Quiet Hotel with Beach Access
Beautiful hotel. The restaurant, sauna, and fitness room were under construction when we were there. But the rooms were quiet. The outdoor pool and hot tub looked great and the beach is just down the street. The hotel was quiet. The staff was nice too. The only odd thing was that our room’s lamps were bright white harsh bulbs instead of the soft warm yellow bulbs you usually get. That was a surprise, but overall the start was very pleasant and it’s perfectly situated on St. Augustine beach and just 15 minutes from the historic district.

Was told that only the restaurant was No lighting in the sink area of the bathroom, had to leave the bathroom door open so the light from the bathroom would somewhat spill out to the sink area. Very poor planning on the rennovation.
