Our stay in Hayword, CA started off extremely stressful. After a smooth check in we unloaded all of our luggage and my husband left to go get food. While he was at a local restaurant, our car window was busted out.
Romika, the evening manager was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had what we nedded to clean up the glass inside our car as well as covering up the hole. She also contacted the police department for us to get information on how to file a report. We greatly appreciated that, as we were stressed and angry about the damage.
The hotel itself was very clean, and all the employees we encountered were very courteous and polite.
I do have a few minor complaints/suggestions along with 1 MAJOR issue:
There was only 1 waffle iron which made for a VERY long line each morning.
They ran out of syrup and several other condiments.
There wasn't any fresh fruit.
Our room did NOT have any cold water in the shower. I informed the Romika the first night and she put an order in for repair. I reminded the morning clerk and upon arrival after our day long events, we were told the water was fixed. It was not. The outlet in the bathroom also didn't work. (Being that this hotel just opened, I know there are expected kinks, but the hot water was a MAJOR issue.)
