Einfaches, kleines Hotel. Zimmer waren sauber. Klimaanlage funktionierte hervorragend. Dusche hat die üblichen Gebrauchsspuren, aber es gibt heisses und kaltes Wasser und der Wasserdruck ist auch okay. Frühstückdame sehr unfreundlich. Kaffe ist Instandkaffe. Saft sehr süss und nicht selbstgepresst. Es gibt nur: Toast, Margariene, Marmelade, gebratenen Reis und Chicken Nuggets.

Check in is 2pm but when we arrived tired at 7pm our room still wasn't ready. When we got in after about a 40 minutes wait the bathroom wasn't clean so someone had to come and do that. The hotel is incredibly run down. This is the kind of standard that i would have expected at as a 20 year old backpacking; old, loud and slighty dirty. And i would have been ok with that then as long as it was incredibly cheap. But its not incredibly cheap, its overpriced for the standard of accommodation.

Terrible, extremely dirty: stains on sheets, layer of dust and dirt on every surface, cups and glasses filthy, sheets smell of vomit, poor and un-accomodating service. I was told by the person at reception I could leave by bag after checkout until 7pm. The next day when I go to check out, another person at reception says nope can’t leave your bags. I had to then on the spot make other costly arrangements for my bag. Complete waste of money. And the room was definitely smaller than advertised.

Du får vad du betalar för. Singapore är inte billigt. Frukosten håller inte Europeisk standard, men helt okej asiatisk. Rummen är stora men slitna. Den som förväntar sig hög standard och ljudisolerat ska inte bo här. Jag är trots det jättenöjd med tanke på priset. Bra val för den som är på en budget. MTR (tunnelbanan) är bara tvärs över vägen.

Comfortable overnight stay

Our overall experience was good. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located near a subway station and there’s lots of food stalls around the area. Most staff were friendly however the female receptionist during our stay was rude and unfriendly. All other staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Despite the bad experience with the female receptionist, we had a comfortable stay at Perak hotel.

Disappointing stay, worst hotel we've stayed at in Singapore. Hotel has the potential to be good, colonial style building, but is let down by multiple things. When booking months prior, we requested adjoining rooms but ened up on separate floors. The bathrooms were awful, I've never seen so much mould. It's the only time I've felt the need to wear slippers in the shower in Singapore. Found a massive black spider in my bed. Staff are not friendly. We were surprised there was complimentary breakfast, but it was disappointing. Not enough crockery, had to wait for dishes to be hand washed. Not a great selection of food. Super noisy, can hear people above you & in adjacent rooms & walking in the hallway. Can hear ?karaoke music to the early hours of the morning. On the positive side, the location is great, close to Little India & Bugis. Rooms are spacious by Singapore standard.

⚠️ KEEP IN MIND: Expedia lists in multiple places that this hotel has laundry facilities and laundry services available. I'd planned to have my laundry done at the hotel, as I had a bit of a long stay, but upon inquiring at the front desk about this, I was told that there are no laundry facilities or laundry services. The hotel should really remove laundry from their list of amenities on Expedia as this is deceiving guests. Other than this, the breakfast buffet was just all right, nothing impressive. The hotel's location right next to the Rochor MRT station is a huge plus. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is quite charming. Overall it was a comfortable stay and I would recommend this place to others (with a heads-up about the laundry).

Wir habe für 3 Nächte ein Priority room gemietet, dieser soll min 24 qm haben. Bekommen haben wir ein 15 qm Zimmer mit blich auf eine verschimmelte Wand. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert e nicht, im Gegenteil sie heizte eher. Was bei 32 Grad aussen Temperatur absolut Inakzeptabel ist. Wir haben dies direkt bei der Rezeption bemängelt,unternommen wurde nichts, uns wurde sogar gesagt das wir forh seien können ein Zimmer bekommen zu haben. Absolute frechheit. Alles in allem ist das hotel gefühlt aus den 1960iger Jahren. Das Frühstück muss man wollen und man kann darauf verzichten , das Personal beschäftigt sich lieber mit dem Handy lautstark. Erst wenn man als Gast um was bittet, wird reagiert. Wir brauchen dieses hotel nicht mehr!
