Kudos for your cancellation policy. This long planned two week vacation was killed when I slipped on Canadian ice and badly hurt my back. With three - maybe four - days notice, the resort refunded my money, all of it. Can you imagine any airline being so understanding? I couldn't believe my good fortune when I recovered in a few weeks and rebooked. While on the subject of praise, you
communicate with the front desk, room maintenance, the people who refill the minibar, etc. through an App. The response is unbelievably fast, usually within five minutes. Just terrific! Now then, this is a typical all-inclusive resort. Our room was nice (no wow when you enter, but nice). Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Great bathroom with two sinks, and spotless. A few USB connections but not many electrical outlets. The buffet was good. The restaurants were not all that great - no chance of a cocktail before dinner and the event was sometimes rushed. We were disappointed by some of the staff - at egistration, in the buffet, the hostesses in the restaurants. They didn't look particularly happy in their work. On the other hand, the maids and bar staff were very pleasant, for the most part. In the advertising, we were intrigued by mention of a village a short walk away, perhaps expecting the little stalls staffed by locals selling pottery, leather, jewellery that you find in Mexico and South America. But no, no. Just a strip mall. You could pay with American currency but the ch
