Note the hotel has no A/C and no elevator
The facility was ok, room was old but well maintained, nice view, front desk and all the staff we ran into was very helpful — BUT, the hotel had no A/C or elevator. Yes the hotel would send a message to tell you this after you book, I didn’t notice their message(my fault) but in case anyone else also miss this — it is very humid and hot. Yes they have a portable AC that you can use, either in the living room/bedroom (you can’t move it because of the pipe), ours was in living room. the portable AC is very loud so it’s not possible to leave it on 24/7, and the AC is not enough to cool off the entire unit so my friend who stays in the living room struggled a lot. It is very hot during the day in the living room even if you have all fans on. I would opt for somewhere else that has an A/C next time but I want to leave this comment to raise awareness — not the hotel’s problem and I think they’ve done the best they can, but it is a difficult situation to deal with.

Great spot for the price. Large 2 beds and 2.5 ba
Nice condo, well equipped with everything we needed. Ocean view balance was great and where we spent most of our time watching the waves and even a few whales! Location was pretty good. About 1 mile walk to shops and restaurants. We had a car but some of the lots were $27+ for 2 hours. The checking & checkout is weird but we were warned in advance. The desk is only open from 8:30-5. We were called because maintenance needed access to our unit for something while we weren't there. Not a deal breaker but weird. A few laundry items were left from the previous guests and the floors were dirty but everything else was nice.

Amazing Comfort, Views and Value for your money!
VI Resorts is "top drawer service & quality". I will ALWAYS recommend these guys first. Having been a local to the island, and having stayed at almost every hotel on the island since I was a kid growing up.... you CANNOT BEAT the value and quality of staying here at Sea Village. The only "complaint" is figuring out where and how to check in. ONCE you got that figured out, the stay is a dream.

Excellent location outside of the Ali’i Drve congestion. The accommodation was huge, the kitchen large , the balcony large…I never expected so much room. Our view was gorgeous of the ocean and cliffs only about 100 feet away. Sea Village was quiet, the staff were welcoming and everything was great.

My fault for not reading, but this place does not have ac. And it’s HOT and humid inside and just miserable. You can purchase ac, but it’s a swamp cooler in only one bedroom, so the rest of the condo is still too hot and just awful. Other than that, it was fine.

Nice stay, but incredibly expensive. I would love to stay in the area for several days, but not at those prices - much better to stay in Volcano or Punaluu and drive back and forth. I found the desk clerk to be a bit blunt - she wasn’t rude at all, just not very cheery or welcoming. I also wasn’t impressed by the $15 fee to use their air-conditioning units - absolutely ridiculous to charge an extra fee considering the high accommodation charge for the apartment.

Spacieux et confortable appartement! La piscine est agréable , le cadre très beau, et pouvoir cuisiner et faire une lessive dans le logement est formidable. Seul bémol, il faut payer un supplément pour la climatisation.

The condos were built in the 70’s and are in decent shape. The person who checked us in was warm and accommodating. Air conditioning costs $15 per day to unlock the portable units. The pool is decent but has weird rules like no games; Marco Polo or anything with a ball. The maintenance person and some people that were either investors or property managers made quite the spectacle of touring the property while we were in the pool. They were quite rude and definitely changed how we felt about the place. They argued with each other in front of us, and the maintenance manager yelled at one of my kids that wasn’t even in and hadn’t been in the pool pointing to the sign about the no Marco Polo rule. Overall, very off-putting. Checkout went fine. This place is a bit far from either of the towns nearby. You can easily walk to a nearby convenience store, but to go to town it’s a mile away. Not sure I would stay here again but the view was pretty and some of the staff were great.
