What I liked is the location, the old town is nearby, nice seafront bars, restaurants, cafes at Galataport. Shops were ok, nothing fancy still very handy to habe it just in front of the hotel.
Breakfast was nice, fresh and a variety of food & drinks with view at the Bosphorus.
What I didn't like is the room. It is quite old, needs to be refurbished (especially the bath), it was located in the inner side and extremely loud. When you opened the window you could here machines (kind of extreme loud blow sound), with closed window as well but not that much at daytimes, however in the night.
I asked for an upgrade but was told it's not possible. Maybe because I didn't book directly with Novotel.
Hamam per person costs 80€. Sorry guys this is insane!!! You pay outside for really nice places 10-30€ max.
You shouldn't try to earn that much money from tourists, I'm Turkish and it's really embarrassing! If the spa owner would pay the most of it to their employees, I would be ok with it, but this is often not the case in TR.
So to everyone who plan to stay there, there're so nice Hamams outside the hotel and in historic buildings where you pay less than in the hotel.
