City center location, close to all important landmarks. Can easily get an authentic feeling of the city. The staff was very friendly, we could store our luggage for free and helped us to wait at the hotel even though we had some issues with the taxi. Thanks for their understanding. Could have stayed more but unfortunately I did not have more days. Can definitely recommend it to anyone.

a very nice experience, it was my first time in hanoi and everything was very impressive, i didn't know what to expect since i booked the hotel, i was in frankfurt, i sent a message to booking if you have any idea how I could reach them at the hotel, a few minutes later I received the answer that someone was coming from the airport to pick me up, even though I landed at 4am at a cost of only 20 euros. The lady at the reception gave me a temporary room until my room is ready, it didn't cost anything, thanks again to Ms. Huong and for organizing the trip, she is a very nice person and takes great care of the customers of the Hotels satisfied no matter what you need and do laundry or ride around the city on a motorbike. Thanks for everything Bellon

We stayed at the Royal Palace Hotel mid to end of october and enjoyed every bit of it. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. Jimmi and Jennie demonstrated top notch hospitality. They helped us arrange everything we asked for. My friend and I took a 2 day unforgettable tour at Ha Long Bay which Jimmi arranged. After we came back from the tour, our room was upgraded to a bigger one with balcony. If you are looking for a hotel with 5 star service, this is the place. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in a central location, our room was clean & well equipped with a aircon. We stayed at this hotel for several nights, mainly due to the fantastic service of Jimmi. He helped us organise tours & transport & even came with us to a pharmacy down the road to translate when we were having trouble.

Wonderful staff. Room was large enough and in good condition except both beds were very uncomfortable. One has metal springs poking into my back and side. The other was a little better but very hard/firm. The room was quiet even though it is in a busy area. Breakfast was very good

We would definitly recommend this hotel in Hanoi for many reasons. First of all because of its great location in Hanoi. Secondly, the team is incredible, always smiling and trying to help. My credit card had been kept by the ATM 5 minutes before going to the opera. We were late, no more money in the wallet and the taxi was already there waiting for us, we did not have time to go back with my boyfriend's CC. Alex (not sure of the spelling sorry) did not hesitate to give us money so that we could pay the taxi. All the receptionnists, maintenance, cooker, housekeeping were great, smiling all the time, very helpfull. Breakfast was good too.

It's the good address in Hanoi !
Comfortable and clean rooms for a good price. Well located in the old town and close to the train station. Perfect!!! But the best, it's the amazing good service. Thanks to Jimmy, organizing everything you need, all the time available ! A big big help when you don't speak Vietnamese !

Very nice hotel with extraordinary, super friendly and helpfull staff. Specially the front desk clerk named Suly really makes way more than the usual effort to make your stay just perfect.The hotel is in a good neighbourhood with lots of restaurants around and pretty close to the trainstation. We picked this place almost at random and it was a very lucky pick. Hanoi is so hectic and hot and royal palace was an oasis. The service was incredible. We went to Sapa and got an overnight train back and the manager slept on a mattress by his desk to be there for when we arrived at 5am!!!! The breakfast is decent an included and not being in the hustle and bustle of the old quarter yet being only a 5 minute walk away really made the stay for us.

Honestly not a good stay.
This is the better of 2 city view rooms offered. Basically a box room. I would never book given the choice. When I asked the "manager ' about the city view he pointed to the picture you see and said " there." Too many bad things to mention.

This was truly a great find for us! We had a deluxe city view room. The room was clean and quite spacious by Hanoi standards with air conditioning and the location is just a few minutes walk from the Hoan Kiem Lake. The value of the hotel was great but what was even better was the staff: They booked train tickets and our trip to Halong Bay. Thanks "Jimmi" - you saved us a lot of hassle!

Staff amazing. I can't rate this hotel anything other than 10/10 faultless in everyway possibly. Will stay here again in future and recommend to everyone.
