Domus Napoleone is in a great location, near Termini station and the metro, a great advantage since Rome has few metro lines and limited access points. The room is spacious, with new furniture, and the cleaning service is excellent. Stefano provides all the necessary instructions and his contact information for any needs, as the hotel does not have a reception desk; this is only available at check-in.
For those researching, it is important to note that it is a guesthouse located on a floor of a building and does not have an elevator.Those traveling with people with mobility limitations and heavy luggage need to be aware of this. The absence of a permanent reception may also create a sense of insecurity, as a guest might leave the hotel entrance door open, as happened one day during my stay.
As a suggestion, it would be helpful to clearly explain in the advance email that upon arriving at the building, guests should locate the button corresponding to Domus Napoleone on the panel next to the door and use the intercom, or, if the main door is open, ask at the reception desk located inside. Regarding the keys, I suggest a method that facilitates handling for the guest, particularly concerning the door that provides access to the hotel. I have also heard complaints from other guests about this. What may seem simple and obvious is not necessarily so for everyone.
