I have travelled extensively in Greece over the past 10 years, visiting the mainland and at least 7 islands during a total of 7 months worth of visits. This place was the first bad experience I had. Be warned -- if you arrive at Roumeli at the end of hiking the Samaria Gorge (as we did), you will be tired, sweaty, hurting, etc. While the Artemis Studios information does tell you that you should go to their restaurant, from where you will be led to the studios, it doesn't tell you that you will be met by no one who speaks English, that you will be led on a four block walk to the rooms, where the young man who speaks no English will hand you over to a younger woman who also speaks no English. Once there you will discover that your rooms are hot and dark and that the young woman cannot turn on the air conditioners. While you are trying to figure out the air conditioning, the young woman will literally disappear, so that when you turn to the door to point to the fact that the second room doesn't have a remote control for the AC, there will be no one there. You then have to walk back the four blocks to the restaurant and try again.
Also, be careful -- the Artemis' ad and info mention an "attic." What this means is that your bed will be up an open wooden flight of steps (where hot air rises), while the toilet is on the lower level. If you are older and need to use the toilet during the night, this would be downright dangerous.
My single worst experience with Greek accommodations.
