We stayed here for our honeymoon. This was such an ideal place to stay in the old town of Chania. Everyone was so so kind, welcoming, and helpful. There was a mini kitchen in our room which was so convenient, and we were greeted with a thoughtful gift of wine, water, fruit, coffee, tea, and candies. The room was spotless. We loved our time here. Thank you Palazzo di Pietro team! It’s truly a special place.

This is a one-of-a-kind experience! The room we were in (The Red Room) was amazing! Incredible decor and fully stocked with everything needed, plus fresh fruit and water in the mini fridge, and some wine and local drink to enjoy! I would have loved to stay longer than the two days we booked! Hospitality was abundant and every effort made to make us comfortable and welcome. This stay was one of the highlights of our anniversary trip! We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Crete and will stay longer! This lovely hotel has authentic decor to the time period it was built. It was absolutely perfect!

This property was great! Family-owned for centuries with unique rooms for every guest. The place is right in the heart of Hania. For that reason, a taxi won’t take you to the door (so keep that in mind), and the beautiful rooms are older so you could hear your neighbors. Host have great recommendations, and you cannot go wrong in the Old Town nearby! Definitely would recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely property. Especially Eleutheria and her team made our stay very special with providing great insights and tips. We enjoyed every interaction with them and of course meeting Voula the adorable cat always put a smile on our faces. The room was spacious, authentic and very clean. The hotel is centrally located in the Old Town of Chania. We can absolutely recommend this place and we will definitely come back. Thank you for this memorable stay! See you very soon again!

We’re so glad we stayed here! We had considered many accommodations, and decided on Palazzo di Pietro because of its traditional vintage charmz We loved this family run hotel. Check in was very welcoming, and included a map full of local sights, in addition to recommendations for dining etc. Staff was helpful throughout our stay - arranging a taxi pick-up for our departure day, etc. The owner was kind and thought of so many little details. There were arrival treats and lovely departing gifts that made our stay feel special - a fridge stocked with fruit and beverages. They provided a water heater, tea and coffee, cups, mugs, plates, and utensils. Great set-up for eating your leftovers. The bathroom was well-equipped, with basic toiletries, cotton rounds, a small wash tub and clips for hanging clothes on the clothesline of our balcony. We loved how many things were provided, and seems great for anyone traveling for an extended amount of time. The top floor has a rooftop terrace with a view of the water. The hotel is conveniently located in Chania - close to great shopping, sights and restaurants. (Next door Steki had the best mussels we’ve ever had - we’d go back to Chania just to get another plate of them!) A heads-up to anyone with physical limitations, there is no elevator. We were on the third floor, and it felt like a hike to our room, especially with bags, but worth it! Best of all is the adorable black cat who lives there. We would stay again and do recommend!

Die Lage ist super. Obwohl man mitten im Zentrum ist, ist es dafür ruhig. Die Betreiberin ist außerdem äußerst freundlich und hat uns einige super Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben, sei es Essen, Parken oder Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zudem fanden wir es extrem zuvorkommend, dass sie uns Obst, eine Flasche Wein und noch einige Kleinigkeiten bei der Ankunft in unser Zimmer gelegt hat. Insgesamt können wir das liebevoll geführte Hotel sehr weiterempfehlen.

What a wonderful property. Right in the heart of Chania’s old city. It feels like the hotel takes you back in time with its antique furniture and wood finishes but still with modern amenities needed for us. The owners were very sweet and helpful for our first visit in the Crete. Their recommendations and knowledge of Crete helped us build memories we wouldn’t have had without their help. When we revisit Chania this will be our go to hotel.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Palazzo di Pietro for four nights and our experience was simply outstanding! The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The welcome gift of a bottle of wine was a delightful touch. The staff were kind and the attention to detail was truly commendable. They even went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday during our stay. I was touched by the surprise birthday card and gift left in our room. The location of the Palazzo is another major plus point. It's situated right in the heart of Chania. I would recommend all of my friends and family to stay here if they were to visit the city.

Best service ever in a hotel! The owner was so helpful and friendly. She gave is tips on al sites in the area. Room (purple) was very charming and comfortable. It was equiped with everything you could possibly need. Small attentions were left for us. Simply amazing.
