Amazing views that we could just wake up and see from bed. Balcony coffee looking at town and mountains 10 out of 10! Small yet perfectly refreshing pool. Rental car or suv advised. Not many food options near. We use massy grocery store and to go food from town that we would just re heat for dinner. They do offer a decent pay breakfast.

Breathtakingly beautiful!
This place was off the hook, enchanting! Never had a view like the one we had. Beautiful French doors in the bedroom that open to a balcony overlooking the pitons. It was actually stunning! Unfortunately, we only stayed for one day, would’ve loved to stay longer. The stairs are a little tricky if you have any physical mobility issues, so be sure to ask to get a room more level if that’s the case.

Grandioser Ausblick, zu weit außerhalb
pro: Die Anlage und vor allem der Ausblick ist großartig. Es gibt selten so schöne Orte und so einen schönen Ausblick. Der Pool ist fantastisch, nicht übermäßig genutzt, alles sauber. Das Personal ist großartig abgesehen vom Hahn, der morgens schon um 5:00 Uhr kräht und der Musik vom Restaurant oberhalb ist es richtig ruhig, mit quakenden Fröschen und Zikaden. contra: das Hotel sehr weit abgelegen, ohne Auto ist man nahezu aufgeschmissen. Ein Taxi runter in die nächste Stadt hin und zurück kostet rund 30 USD, wenn man dann noch für 30 € und essen geht, hat man 60 € für eine Person ausgegeben. Leider hat das Hotel nur Frühstück, dieses ist auch sehr spartanisch, auch nicht unbedingt immer zuverlässig jeden Tag, die Auswahl ist gering. Mittagessen oder Abendessen wird leider gar nicht angeboten, auch einen eigenen, etwas größeren Supermarkt gibt es nicht. Insgesamt muss man sich schon sehr viel auch auf Warten einstellen. Während ich in der Anlage war, war es nahezu unmöglich, in den anliegenden Restaurants einen Termin zu bekommen, sie waren zehn Tage vorher ausgebucht oder nahmen nur Bargeld oder waren an bestimmten Tagen geschlossen. Das ist insgesamt sehr unbefriedigend gewesen.

Tried other and more expensive stays in the area with deceiving photos, I will not name, but trust that there’s no other better up in the hills: Samfi takes the cake. Super clean, comfortable, incredibly views, perfectly kept and manicured. The only upgrade would be an all inclusive by the beach/water. We rented a car so getting around was easy and finding places to eat too. Saint Lucia overall is super safe, the flora and the fauna are unmatched. I am Caribbean born and raised, if you want the perfect romantic retreat overlooking the Pitons or just a place with for peace and quiet look no further. I will always come back to Samfi. The staff is also the best, always available and looking out for your needs.

Samfi Gardens has probably the best view of the Pitons. Great staff, clean room, refreshing infinity pool overlooking the Pitons. Very affordable. The road to the hotel is very rough, but the rough part is short. No restaurant on property, but they offer breakfast, that you need to order the day before. Breakfast was excellent and not too expensive. Bring earplugs, singing frogs from 6:30PM to 5:30AM every night. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and tranquil. The only drawback is no on site dining. They have a few snacks and beverages for sale but no food. The Treetop Restaurant is up the hill from the property. I would definitely recommend a sunset dinner but please make reservations in advance. All in all i would definitely recommend this property.

Samfi is truly very beautiful and the views you get of the Pitons from here when you wake up each day are breathtaking. That alone is enough reason to book a stay here. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly. It is very easy to arrange for taxi's from the resort and they will assist you with it so you don't have to walk everywhere if you don't want to. The hill is a pretty good workout! There are a fair amount of stairs around the resort depending on your room so if there is anything you have to physically consider, you may want to specifically request a room that is on one of the upper levels closer to the deck. Lastly, they don't serve lunch or dinner so just be mindful of making sure you are planning ahead when it comes to food. We planned dinner every day except for the day we landed and had to think of a last-minute option to eat that evening. Luckily, there was a place in town that delivered. But even with that, they aren't open very late. We made sure to stock our room full of snacks just in case we got hungry after 9pm. Overall, this is an amazing place to stay. Every attraction we did in Soufriere was only minutes away. It was so convenient and a perfect place to spend our vacation.

First and foremost, the staff were amazing and very attentive! Went above and beyond! The property is very clean, surrounded by mango trees, and with one of the best views to the Pitons and the volcano’s caldera. They have a delicious and generous breakfast to prepare you for your daily excursions. And the proximity to all of the main attractions was ideal (ie Volcano, Asne Chastenet Beach, Botantical Gardens, etc…). Highly recommend and look forward to returning!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in St Lucia, staying at Samfi Gardens, and could not have been happier or more delighted! While the drive up, (on the wrong side for us Canadians) was a tiny bit challenging, and you need to take care on the road heading into the property, the stunning view of the Pitons once there is worth it!! Add to that the fact that the staff are absolutely lovely and very kind, that there are wonderful activities to enjoy nearby, and that Samfi Gardens itself is a peaceful haven, and you have the recipe for a wonderful vacation. We were so grateful to spend time in beautiful St Lucia at Samfi Gardens, and hope to return!!

It is not safe to walk the main roads in St Lucia- no sidewalks and cars fly around blind hairpin turns. Roads are poor leading to property though passable if driving slow (as they are in lots of areas in St Lucia). Shop before coming to use the full kitchen. Parking is available on the property.
