Relaxing trip
Im thankful for Rosa and the lady in the office, i had an early arrival, and they were very accomddating. Very easy check in/out. There are near by restaurants and stores in walking distance. My choice for this hotel was for the beach access. The beach was amazing. Lots of cabanas and beach chairs to relax on.There are small restaurants on the beach and many activities. The hotel was clean and air conditioned. I would book another stay.

Bait and switch.
I paid for a 2 bedroom unit but when I checked in was only given a 1 bedroom. When I asked for a 2 bedroom, they offered me to a room at a different resort that had awful mildew smell in it. We couldn’t stay in that mildew smelling room and it wasn’t even the resort we booked. I asked for the one bedroom unit but with a reduction in my price to the one bedroom price. But they refused.

So I want to start off with the front desk people they were amazing. The room was a studio just for me and wife to spend our Anniversary from Friday to Monday the shower water was cold every day so my wife washed up in sink with lukewarm water and that sucked for her because we was sweating and swimming in the beach water so we had to get cleaned. The doors to patio was not secured at all and at anytime anyone could have gotten in and robbed us or worse. The bathroom under the sink was open with a hole in the wall I have pictures it was bad. The tv did not work well at all they don’t have cable only to watch YouTube or Netflix that you had to sign in with your own account but we didn’t. The patio area had rat droppings all on it we didn’t want to go out there or leave the glass doors open to get the breeze or chill. The pool was not cleaned at all so we didn’t use it but Monday when was leaving they started to clean it and they had two chairs to sit on if u wanted to lay by the pool it was as not good for relaxing at all. The best part was when we left out the room to the left was a walkway right to the beach and it was beautiful but there are people that are on the beach trying to sale you things so that was annoying.

Give this place a chance!
I want to start by saying, this complex is under new management and improvements are being made daily. The location is excellent. Steps away from a white sandy beach with sunbeds, shades and beach towels all provided free of charge. If you choose to have breakfast, whilst it isn't in the complex itself, it is less than a five minute walk away. If you stayed at one of those large resorts, it would take you longer to walk to the buffet restaurant. The choices for breakfast are wide and varied. The food is excellent. We also ate lunches and dinners there. I wouldn't say the service is slow, nor would I have said that the staff prioritise other customers over Los Corales guests. I would say that because the food is so great, they get busy. They respond better to patient, polite diners rather than stroppy, demanding gannets who can't wait for their food to be freshly prepared. The rooms in the complex are spacious and are being updated. Our had new light fittings, air con and fans. The wifi was great. Bedding and towels were clean. Complimentary bottled water in the fridge. Slight miscommunication regarding airport pick up but very genuinely apologetic. The reception staff here do a great job, are helpful and proactive. They want you to have a fantastic holiday. They want you to come back and recommend them. If you don't have a great experience there, perhaps, they don't want you back!

Could be better
When we arrived, there was a big leak in our room. Instead of giving us the next available room, they made us wait for a very long time to try to clean up this room with a leak. We had traveled for 24 hours with our little girl who is six years old. We were tired and it was getting late. After they made us wait for close to one hour with multiple workers coming to clean the leaked water, finally then they said to give us an empty room. Perhaps they could have offered us that sooner. I don’t know the reason, maybe they expected to clean the room faster. We came during Christmas week, so maybe they were understaffed, because it was hard to find people to get pool towels, and the front office was usually closed. Also, our room was only cleaned once when we stayed for five days. I think they probably have better service when it is not Christmas week. The location is nice and overall the place is a good deal. I think they have potential to be much better. Simple things like keeping the pool cleaner or have more lights around the pool, and having pool towels available more often. It was 3 PM in the afternoon and no one was available when many guests looked for pool/beach towels; they said we had to return to the front office in the morning for towels. But in the morning, nobody was at the front office.

This hotel is very nice and real surprise. There’s a calm, simpatico feeling here. It has a kind of “1950’s Hollywood Hills” or “Pasadena garden apartments” feeling about it. I was suspicious after reading some negative reviews and the low price. Don’t worry. There is nothing cheap, or shabby here. Seems like it has recently been very nicely renovated. All the fixtures are modern and the curtains and linens are nice. The AC is good and the wifi generally works fine (although occasionally it drops out). Absolutely no concern about security or crime. If anything, there’s an unexpected high level of tranquility. Nicely maintained grounds and nice pool. This is not a resort and not a chain hotel. There is a very pleasant and distinctly non-commercial retro style to the operation. No glossy printed materials in the room with information or rules and regulations, or little bottles in the bathroom. No lobby or restaurant or gift shop. No bellboys or maids to be seen. It’s simply a quiet, pleasant island in a sea of commercial tourism at an extremely reasonable price.

Hermoso lugar, la vista increíble. La playa hermosa. Al principio me molestó que solo hubiera un aire acondicionando. Pero con ese es suficiente para que se refresque toda la villa. El personal súper atento, alegre y con mucha disponibilidad de atendernos.

La propiedad muy buena y el acceso a la playa sin embargo la atención si dejó mucho que desear, ya que no nos dieron el ticket del desayuno hasta después en el restaurante. No explicaron bien todo el proceso

I have stayed here a few times before and loved the property but this time the bed bugs ate me alive and it was so miserable. I got married and was staying there for part of our honeymoon. It really made me change where I am going in the future as me and my husband travel there a few times during the year. We thought this was a place we could frequent but we will not ever be staying here again. I am afraid I will be attacked again. I was literally covered from neck to foot in large red itchy bumps. I had to spray my own room and stay off of the couch where I believed them to be. So sad because this property is beautiful and in a perfect spot.
