The hotel’s location was perfect, right by the train station, making it easy to explore Amsterdam. The decor and design were beautiful, but the service was disappointing. There was no phone in the room — communication was only through WhatsApp, with slow replies.
Our first night, we found a hole in the bedsheet, and the TV remote didn’t work. After reporting it, they responded the next morning, promising to replace both, but only the sheet was changed. The remote still didn’t work on the second and third nights. Eventually, a staff member visited and confirmed the TV was faulty, offering a room change — but since we were leaving the next day, it felt pointless.
The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, with no alternatives, leading to poor sleep. The only apology came on our last night with a drinks voucher, but when my friend ordered a spirit and mixer, she was still charged despite the voucher including spirits.
The hotel itself was lovely, but the lack of urgency, poor communication, and discomfort made the stay disappointing.
