Nightmare - terrible staff - place to avoid
Terrible. Ultra long Check-in. Misinformation for the shuttle. Nobody answered the number they provided me so I waited 1h30 at the airport before spending 1000 pesos for a taxi… a shame. Even this morning, I check twice personally and physically at the lobby that my family was registered for the 5 am shuttle. With the previous day experience, I had a bad feeling so I wake up early to check again with the driver at 4.45 and I did well, we were not on his list. Absolutely terrible. Children would have done a better service than this staff. As I paid at the hotel, I don’t think there is a way to get any refund or compensation. I tried to chat with them (3 people) but their English is limited and as soon as the discussion became unpleasant for them, they switched in the « I don’t speak English » mode and use their phone as a translator… Never again at this place.

Not so great
Mixed feelings about this place. The shuttle drivers and front desk were really helpful but the food and beverage team not so much. Ordered dinner and served on paper plates with plastic cutlery, no napkins and had to go up to server to get the water I ordered and to order and pay so not much service and no English. At breakfast arrived at 8:15 am and no eggs or bread or fruit left. No black tea. Could not find knives. They eventually refilled the eggs and bread. Elevator frames on 5th floor held with tape. Room was okay but the air conditioning blows right onto the head end of the bed so into face. Only 2 bath towels in room. Stained furniture in lobby and screaming kids at 9:30 pm at night.

Great for what it is!
It was a good hotel room. Safe. Clean. Modern. Good service with a few nice extras. I don't understand the bad reviews. It's great for a night or 2, but don't stay here for an entire vacation. Your wife & kids will never want to vacation with you again if you spend an entire week here. If you want a vacation experience, there are so many great area properties set up for that purpose for a good range of budgets. This hotel is just a good utilitarian option if you're just landing or have an early flight out or if you're here on business. Close to the airport, so not a whole lot of walkable dining options. However, room service and breakfast are nice and basic. Pool and gym were nicer than expected. Airport shuttle was an amazing perk... reliable and easy to use! Call the hotel # when you arrive to give your name and location and then Meet the driver at "Friends & Family" pickup outside of your terminal. Have some patience and use this hotel for what it was meant for. You'll be satisfied.

The hotel is new and therehfore clean. Had to ask for glasses, water and conditioner as the one provided was three quarters gone. Walls are paper thin. We went down for breakfast at 7:45 and there were no eggs left or forks or bread. Asked for eggs and she brought them but didn't check what else was needed therefore no forks or bread. People that came after us were also annoyed as there didnt seem to be anyone looking after the breakfast. Disappointing after paying the price we did. I dont recommend this place.

Very nice spot but not enough staff!
The poor night clerk was overwhelmed when we arrived late after taking over 4 hours to get through customs. Even though there were only 6 people in front of us, it took over an hour to get to us so we could check in! The room was nice but breakfast was horrible as it was so busy and the food was gone the second it came out. They were obviously not prepared for the hotel being full.

Horrible experience
1. We waited almost 45 minutes just to check in 2. All the time there are shooting air fresheners with dense perfume odor And my wife is sensitive to odor (cancer recovery) we asked them to shut them down and did not 3. The bathroom was dirty with hair on the floor so we asked them to clean it up 4. The bathroom had a strong sewer smell and the janitor came to check but couldnt so anything! No air ventilation 5. Printer lack of cartridges and no stock

Worst Marriott ever. Avoid this hotel
Arranged shuttle bus from airport did not show up. No one to pick up phone in designated shuttle phone number. Taxi to hotel from airport is USD 130, total scam. At hotel we were informed that next day shuttle to airport was fully booked. Overall this hotel DOES NOT offer shuttle service. Breakfast was really bad and not enough food! On Marriott’s webpage start time is 06:00, at Expedia website 06:30. At reception they mentioned 7:00, but food only started to arrive 07:25
