It was so good to finally feel fully comfortable for a couple nights. In 9 or so motels on this trip including pricier ones, this was the most comfortable bed, and the most delightful, plentiful marshmallowy pillows. We didn't want to have to go sleep somewhere else after, and we tried to see if it was possible to buy the pillows for ourselves (not sure on that yet).
One of us visited the waterpark in the middle of one of the days we were here. I had it all to myself, the hot tub and shallow swimming pools were both nice, and the kind lady there cleaning turned on the jets when I couldn't see the sign for them, and would have been fully willing to turn on the waterslide just for me if I'd wanted.
There's a retractable clothes line in the shower for drying swim suits (or whatever else you need but I certainly needed it for the swimsuit) that worked great!
Breakfast was above average for a budget friendly stay, with meat options, warm eggs, fresh waffles and various drink and cereal/bread options.
Very close by to several restaurants of various price ranges, as well as grocery stores. Also the church history site we were interested in.
Would so happily stay here again if we come back this way!
