Cash is king
The interior and exterior of the hotel was beautifully done. The staff and the false promises on the booking website was what made our experience bad. The staff barely spoke English, and we had to ask three times before getting requested services. When we arrived there were 2 extra beds in our room, and when we asked for them to be remove since we didnt need them, it took 3 days before someone came, even though we asked multiple times. The kitchen in the room, which was not fully equipped, as written on the website, didnt work either. We almost had to 'force' the staff into our room to have them help us fix the hotplate. If you wish to cook, you need to request the equipment from the staff, but you still dont get anything to clean with, or a cooking board and propper knife to cut with. On the website it also states that there will be free drinking water. This meant that you only get 0.4ml per person, per day.
The breakfast was also not a highlight and completely free as written in the booking. It consist of toastbread, a toaster, and six bowls of cereal topping (ants were crawling out of it), but if you want yoghurt or milk, you need to pay for it. You get a few slices of fruit served to your table, and if you ask for more you need to pay for it.
The staff presents you with a bill and says everything is included, except for the service, implying that we need to pay them in tips. The staff will look as you are are paying to make sure you leave a tip. 4 stars but should be 2.
