4am check-in, no bed made for my son. So tired.
Arrived at 4am, somewhere to sleep and have breakfast near the airport before heading to our holiday hotel for 5 night's.
Messaged hotel to advise of late check-in via hotels.com.
Got checked in, all ok. Basic room on lobby level floor. The room was for 3 people (2 adults and 1 child of 14 years). There was a king bed and a sofa bed. At 4am we just wanted to sleep but unfortunately the sofa bed hadn't been made, reception was not answering so headed to them and asked for the bed to be made, 30 mins later they arrived. Unfortunately no pillows were given, I asked and they pointed to the pillows on our bed. Pillows were terrible, needed 2 each but gave one up for our son so he could sleep. Luckily we were so tired after this we fell sound asleep, room was quite. Room also only had 2 waters / 2 towels and no hand towels for 3 people. Breakfast was ok, good selection for the price of the hotel. Didn't have time to look around as only stayed from 4am to 12pm, slept most of the time. There is a free airport shuttle but due to our flight time we would have to wait 50 mins for it to arrive so we opted for a taxi, not far away but its impossible to walk as you cannot cross the busy roads on foot to reach it. Taxi was 38 aed (10 euros). Good location for a airport.
