6/10 Bagus

Weekend in Manchester
We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was comfortable enough with only a few irritants. The stay itself was fine. The staff overall were very plesant. My only issue was with the room. It was dated and I think probably the whole hotel is screaming for a refurb.
I travelled with my husband and teenage sons, so we had a family room.
1. The sofa-bed that the boys slept on was very squeaky so, every toss and turn they made would wake me up. 2. The electric heater made a funny noise from now and then too which also woke me up a few times at night. 3. The handle to open and close the window was broken.
4. As was pointed out before by a previous reviewer, there were no sockets next to the bed, let alone any usb points for phones. (I did bring my own portable charger so I was prepared for this, after that comment, so thanks for that).
Breakfast was nice and simple, but come early enough. After 9am, it gets busy and the area is quite small so sometimes there are long queues. It might be a good idea to move the toast and croissants away from the hot food. My children dont like the hot food, however, didnt want to stand in the long queue to get to the croissants and were concious about cutting the line just for the croissants, so decided to stay without.
Parking was £13 a night and that was paid for at reception upon checking in.
As an airport hotel, I would recommend this hotel for a night stay. Or for couples as the beds and pillows were great
