10 Best Places to Go Shopping in Tenerife

Siam Mall is a modern and stylish mall in Costa Adeje in the southern part of Tenerife. The mall is Thai-themed and features statues and ornaments designed and made in Thailand. Over 70 shops are spread across 2 floors, and you’ll find plenty of well-known brands, including Mango, Zara, Oysho, Guess and Calzedonia. It also has a top-floor food court and cafes downstairs for a relaxing coffee break.

Siam Mall is a great place to shop or simply visit because it has large green spaces with impressive Thai vegetation and decoration. The Los Cristianos Market takes place every Tuesday and Sunday in Arona, on the southwest side of Tenerife. You’ll find this prominent market on Los Cristianos Beach, close to the Arona Gran Hotel. Plan to spend a few hours here as there is a fantastic array of colourful stalls to explore.

The Golden Mile is in the heart of Las Américas in the southern part of Tenerife. The wide avenue stretches for 1.5 km and offers a diverse range of luxury and franchise shops. Lining the open-air shopping paradise are many exclusive brands like Armani, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, and Zara, as well as local boutiques.

The Adeje Farmer's Market in South Tenerife is a small yet fun place to visit. It's where you can mingle with locals and meet and support the island's farmers. There are only about 35 stalls, but you'll find everything you need to make a meal or pick up a healthy snack.

Here, vendors sell vegetables, mangos, oranges, papayas, and various fresh produce. Local honey, wine, homemade sweets and pies are available at the Adeje Farmer's Market. 

The Medano Craft Market is a colourful street market in the bohemian town of El Medano in South Tenerife. Every Saturday, the central beachfront plaza fills up with stalls selling unique handicrafts, jewellery, clothes, natural hygiene products and other handmade items.

There is even a stall selling beautiful glass artworks and decorations. After your shopping spree, enjoy a lovely local lunch in one of the lively cafes or restaurants near the plaza. If you're coming by car, it's best to arrive as early as possible. It gets busy on market days, so it can be challenging to find parking.

Centro Comercial El Mirador is an upscale waterfront shopping centre near the main beach on Costa Adeje. The mall resembles a traditional Canarian village complete with typical architecture, narrow streets, quaint arches, and shady plazas with fountains. Many boutiques are independently owned and sell designer clothes, beachwear, toys, handmade souvenirs, and much more.

The mall’s shaded courtyards are a welcome respite from the midday sun, especially when accompanied by coffee and cake or a freshly made lemonade. Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, the centre hosts an artisan market. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the mall.

Commercial Centre Plaza del Duque is a swanky shopping mall in Costa Adeje, in the south of Tenerife. The circular, 3-floor mall is packed with some of the world's most exclusive and prestigious fashion, jewellery, perfume, and accessory brands.

Armani, Bulgari, Escada, Desigual, Loewe, Prada, Rolex and Max Mara are just some of the many top-end retailers you'll find here. There are also chic cafeterias with large terraces where you can enjoy a meal and some cocktails.

Calle de Castillo is the main pedestrian street in Santa Cruz and is popular with both locals and visitors. The vibrant avenue runs west from Plaza de la Candelaria through the centre of town. The stores are open until late, perfect for after-dinner browsing or shopping. The nightly dancing fountain show in the central plaza is a must-see. The best view is from one of the upper levels bars on the periphery.

Centro Commercial Meridiano is a large mall in Santa Cruz, less than 2 km from the town centre. You'll find just about everything, from clothing and shoes to accessories and electronics. It is also home to the only Primark store in Tenerife.

Centro Commercial Meridiano hosts a multi-screen cinema, a 10-pin bowling alley, and a variety of eateries. Its massive Carrefour supermarket offers an excellent selection of foodstuffs, making it a convenient stopover if you're in the mood to cook.
