Pros: AC worked well, no issues with hot running water. The small fridge was stocked with drinks, so we could take some bottles and leave money for them
Cons: airport shuttle was included in our booking but the host refused to pick us up after 8pm. The room is like two bedroom apartment with tiny kitchen, so you have just one room to yourself and in another room you may have all different strangers. Our host didn’t bother to notify our new roommates about our presence, so we were woken up at 2:24am by loud noises and someone trying to open our door. The shower smells urine, no shelves for your toiletries, a molded pump with soap only provided in the shower. The toilet flushing system is very weird. Towels are old and stained. Breakfast is a joke, you have to brew your own coffee, but the mugs are all dirty. You have to bring all your luggage 15-20 stairs up and your room has no functional window.. the small window is covered by locked metal shatters. If you open those shatters, the view is a tiny old street and an old dirty wall with people drying their underwear. I booked this “guest house” for good reviews, but honestly, I doubt credibility of those reviews. I travelled a lot in different countries, but this accommodation was the worst so far. I paid with Expedia points just for two nights prior to my cruise, otherwise I would have requested my money back and find a normal hotel. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
