Extremely disappointed about being charged on a minibar item after my departure from Auckland, without prior clarification. Only got an email informing me my credit card was charged.
At the time of checkout I explicitly stated that no minibar items were consumed when asked. Felt utterly insulted and robbed when they charged me afterwards, and their behaviour makes me wonder that the hotel could basically charge you on anything after checkout. Would not have noticed if I didn't check my email.
Although a refund was processed after I emailed the hotel, the incident reflects very poor staff management and administration. Very shocked something like this could happen at a hotel like Park Hyatt.
The hotel is very well maintained physically but no customer would ever want to go encounter such a disrespectful event no matter how nice the hardware is.
