Safety and Security and Other Issues
While to hotel could use some updating it was a comfortable place to stay. A few issues, the first of which was major:
1. Housekeeping left our door open all day after cleaning one day. We did not get back until the evening, and our door was ajar. I addressed the issue with the Hotel Manager and she said she would look into it and get back to me, that never happened. This is a major security and safety issue that should be a major red flag to anyone looking to stay at this property.
2. There was supposed to be a Fourth of July party from 11 to 7 in the pool area with food at some point. The bar was rarely staffed and no food had been put out all day, at least until we left just before 6. The front desk kept saying they would look into it but it was the restaurant's responsibility.
3. Service at the rooftop restaurant was very poor the first night, but we had outstanding service for breakfasts!
