We turned up Hotel Indigo at 5pm after a long flight from the states. After being checked in for 10 minutes we asked if there was a problem. We were told that at this point they didn’t have a room for us and they were looking at getting us a room at the next hotel! After a 45 minute wait, we finally got a room in the Mercure. The room was so tiny, it was along a narrow corridor on the fifth floor. The room was so small that we could barely get our luggage in and the blind didn’t fit properly so at 4.30 am the sun was shining right onto the bed. Our nights sleep was awful. Not what we booked and not what we expected. We were not offered any compensation, a very different level of service from the service we received in America.
