Great value stay. The hotel is within walking distance from the airport, but there’s also a bus or a train you can catch. The rooms were a little dated but were very clean and the staff were lovely.

Perfect and convenient for an early flight.
Really comfortable beds, basic comfort and amenties, friendly customer servicrle. The bathroom is a bit worn but functional. Great location 10 mins walk from train station for Thameslink and 2 mins walk for bus to Gatwick £3, great value for money.

Christmas stay
Our three night stay over the Christms period was more than adequate. A couple of points which would have made it as perfect as it could be and are: net curtains at front window as personally like to sleep with curtains open but being on ground floor at front of house and facing carpark, didn't feel comfortable on view to any passerby even though set back from road. And other thought, a morning check to fill up on teabags and milk and perhaps a packet or two of biscuits would have been nice to see. Staff were discreet but happy and smiley. Wemay well return.

Reception opening hours.were different to what Hotels.com had registered, which was a problem. Hotel very simple and not particularly cosy, but bathroom was nice and clean. I wouldn't visit the hotel agsin, but it did the job and provided a night sleep.

Functional Lodge for Travellers using Gatwick Airp
I lodged at the property to enable me get to Gatwick Airport on time because of the proximity. I arrived at the lodged at 4am and was out by 6.30am, spending barely 150 minutes. I checked in with the guides to their self check in system because of my arrival time and didn't get to meet anyone because of my departure time. However, the lodge is located for those trying to catch early morning flight at London Gatwick Airport or seeking for the ease of getting to the Airport for outbound flights.

Basic but tidy
Basic room, ok for a place to sleep before travelling to the airport. No heating on so was very cold through the night and a very strong smell of spices which was overpowering. We didn’t see anyone upon arrival or leaving.

Simple and cozy
Definitely will stay again. Everything was decent- thorough information presented at reception, common spaces seemed clean, bed was firm and comfortable, minimal noise through the window and neighboring walls. While the towels were worn/fraying a bit on the edges, they were definitely clean. The shower had good pressure and temperature. The room had a kettle and tea/instant coffee. It wasn't posh or breathtaking but it was enough space for my minimal needs. It's smart that they ask guests eat any takeaways or hot food in the breakfast room rather than their bedrooms. I did not have breakfast so I have no review for that. I chose this spot for it's excellent proximity to the airport -thanks to the 100 bus stop only a two minute walk from the lodge- but far enough, as I didn't hear any airplane noise! It's budget but still pretty good quality. Will return. (Two pillows provided. No mini fridge in the room FYI)

Very comfortable stay, the room had everything we needed and was very quiet. The bus from Gatwick drops you almost outside and Horley train station is about 15 minutes walk. The staff are very helpful if you need an airport taxi. There is a great pub, the Six Bells only 10 minutes walk and other dining options in town, also walkable.
