Highly recommended for people travels with budget
Have to go to other hotel for check in. Beside that, everything was great! Not as noisy as I expected with its prime location near the union square. A lot of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. There are cable care stations, BART station in 5-7mins walking distance.

Haare im Bett & Gemeinschaftsbad
Fremde schwarze Haare im Bett und zwar viele. Die Bettdecke bestand aus 2 losen Laken, dazwischen eine dicke Decke (die NIE gewaschen wird), nachts verschieben sich dann die 2 losen Laken und man kuschelt mit einer dreckigen Innendecke. ACHTUNG: Gemeinschaftsbad. Bei der Buchung fast nicht ersichtlich und absolute Frechheit. Funkelns Zimmer, selbst im November viel zu heiß in den Zimmer, kein richtiges Fenster. Lichter im Zimmer sind schrecklich.

Good rate for a very centrally located hotel but you do get what you pay for. Intermittent plumbing and elevator issues, no in unit fridges or really anything but bed desk and bathroom. Would stay again but probably not more than a few nights.

Better than you think
I booked this on the basis of price. I was expecting a sub-par experience. I was very pleasantly surprised. Great rate in the heart of San Francisco. I was warned about the homeless problems in this area and while there was a bit of that, it was small in comparison to store owners cleaning the sidewalks in front of their stores. The room was small, for sure. But it had every basic that I needed. Also, the room was clean.

Perfect for the price. They don’t clean your room daily. The front desk is only staffed on weekends, but they have someone at a nearby hotel that can take care of things. Very clean. Very quiet.

El check in debe hacerse en otro hotel justo a la vuelta, no es gran problema en realidad. Te regalan una cerveza por huésped en el Bartlett Hall (bar justo abajo del hotel), se agradece! La ubicación es excelente en cuanto a transporte y tiendas, hay de todo! Lo malo es que hay mucho homeless sin embargo no se meten contigo ni son peligrosos. Las instalaciones son algo viejas y desafortunadamente encontramos a un bagabundo 2 días en nuestro piso usando el baño y el olor que había debido a eso era insoportable. La habitación estaba muy limpia y cómoda, solo recomendaría cambiar las almohadas que carecen de toda firmeza. En general es un hotel bastante pasable si deseas ahorrar y llegar solo a dormir pues es barato.

I stayed for 9 days. At first, I was surprised to find the check-in counter in a building across the street, and I had to cross with heavy bags. In addition, the shared toilet sometimes didn't work, and the shared shower room was very narrow, with no space to put clothes or towels. However, the hotel is clean, so I think it's more suitable for a short stay of 1 or 2 days.
