Awful awful awful
The hotel is older one but right on the beach. We booked a premier ocran front. The view was amazing. The sounds of the ocean could be heard all night. The bed was comfy. And that is where the good ends. Small kitchen with only a fridge, sink and coffee maker that hasnt been cleaned in years. The sofa and chairs hard as a rock. The toilet is hard to flush and gets backed up constantly. We had to call maintence for the shower as it wouldnt work. After waiting an hour they came and semi fixed it. We were able to use it at thisnpoint but each time had to pull and twist knobs in a mickey mouse way, as the maintence guy said to do until it can be fixed. The walls are super thin. We could hear our neighbors entire conversations and tv. We had to call maintence again because the tv kept losing signal. The room had a private balcony not so private. Its a small.gate that doesnt lock so we kept having people come in our "private" area. When asked management said yeah it happens. Valet is $45 a day. And although they were nice, you pay and they literally keep it parked where you park it. Not really valet except they hold your key. The elevator is a death trap. I wish i were kidding. Its so old, small and made of wood. 2 people fill the elevator and each time it hardly moves, gets stuck for a bit and even drops a little. We ended up taking stairs, much safer. The pool and spa are disgusting. Days later they add charges to the card on file and hangup when asked about them

disappointed
I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what was advertised. While I appreciate the kindness of the staff, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The room we received was nothing like what was shown online—it was in poor condition and clearly not maintained properly. The bathroom was a mess, the iron didn’t work, the internet wouldn’t connect, and the bed looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 1940s (and not in a charming, antique way). The overall upkeep of the hotel was disappointing, making for an uncomfortable stay. I sincerely hope management takes steps to improve the maintenance and accuracy of their advertising because, as it stands, this was a very disappointing experience.

Room with a view
We came for a Valentines weekend. We were greeted by the staff at the reception area. Explained everything we needed to know, very friendly. Valet were very helpful and friendly. When we got to our oceanfront WOW!!! So beautiful. Our room was perfect big comfy bed, awesome balcony, clean and quiet. Except the beautiful sound of the waves crashing on the beach. Beautiful sunset and in the morning Dolphins 🐬 feeding. Absolutely delicious dinner at the Driftwood Kitchen. Definitely two thumbs up!!

Glorified Motel for Premium Price
This is a glorified motel. run down even the updated rooms are still just not great. There is no water bottle provided in the room and the water for sale in the lobby was $10! just ridiculous. BUT nothing beats this location, right on the beach, and walking distance to town. The valet service attendants were amazing, but for this high price, I would spend a little more and stay somewhere nice.

Stressful. Unkind. Racist hotel.
My arrival was perfect, and the gentleman who checked me in was exceedingly kind. However, since the telephone was not functioning and the hotel wished to send someone to my room to repair it, I politely declined out of consideration for my family's comfort. Shouldve worked upon arrival. We had breakfast at the Deck and requested a slightly later checkout time, but the hotel refused due to noise complaints. They should have come to my room to inform me, considering my phone was not working.. My family and I hurried back to our room, aware that we had 30 minutes until checkout. To our surprise, we found our keys had been locked. Went to the front desk, staff treated my family like hoodlums, and even yelled at my kids just because they were vocal about us still having time to check out. They checked me out and charged my card before I requested it, even though I still had time. We waited almost 30 minutes to return to our room to collect our belongings. The front desk attendant, after giving me another key, threatened to charge me for another night if we weren't out within 15 minutes, causing us significant stress. Because I had my children with me, I had to hurry, as we needed to go home to prepare for our vacation later that night. I am a busy travel nurse, which explains the delay in leaving this review, which I will also post on other platforms.

Too many
We had a great time in area the beach and fires in the area. The Taco stand restaurant was great loved the Tacos. The room was very old fashioned and need updating; the carpet was old and faded, the kitchen draws were just painted over with white paint to look new but was not and was some of them were stuck shut had to pull hard, the bathroom was very small no matter how I tried I kept hitting the wall when I came out of shower and had to dry myself off. Side and toilet was 3ft from the wall. The last thing I did not like was the breakfast burritos with potatoes, they were bland no salt or pepper added and potatoes were boils not fried. When we call to make another with added season and salt they said they can’t do that because it’s pre-made. They there was the velvet we didn’t used but they try to charge us for $45 lol no thank you that too much.

Great Value on the Beach
Nice beach feel to the place, and easy beach access. The only drawback was paper thin walls, so earplugs were helpful.

The room was awesome, we could hear the waves even with the windows and doors closed. We went down to The Deck for dinner and the bar service was friendly and easy. Overall, great stay with the only a couple of complaints. One being that there was no toaster or microwave in the room as shown in the photos and we would have to go to the main building lobby to heat food. The second being that the shower had a high pitch screech when being used.

Not as described online.
The experience was not so good as the rooms were worn down and did not look like the images online or on your website. The images you have are for upgraded rooms not the rooms we have. Additionally, the hotel was not waterfront as described online. The shower had mold, the rooms was smelly even after we asked to be moved to another room. The rooms was smelly still and appliances were old and elevator was dirty and chipped all around.
