8/10
This was our first time at Tahiti Village. We needed a 2-night respite on a long road trip with our 8 and 5 year olds. The resort was a nice retreat in the summer heat. We had a standard room in Tower 1. Not sure if it’s one of the remodeled rooms, but it was fine for our needs. The kids said the hide-a-bed was comfy. Like some other reviewers, we wish there was a better place to eat meals. And with shopping services and what looks like could be a full kitchen, a two-burner stove would be nice. A microwave does not provide a home-cooked meal.
The pools were the highlight and much needed to beat the heat. Staff checked the chemical levels regularly and tons of lifeguards were on duty. I just wish the pools were regularly cleaned of debris. More than one vent was clogged with leaves. We stayed when an epic wind/sand storm hit Vegas so the resort acted appropriately and closed off the pools and blocked walkways where tree damage could take place.
Kids also loved the arcade. We had 30-45 minutes of play for two kids on a $20 card. Would consider staying again.
