We messaged the property 3 days prior to our arrival asking for an early check-in. They never responded. When we arrived, the front desk clerk did not acknowledge our unanswered message, told us curtly our room was not available and that we would get a text. No effort was made to expedite the preparation of our room. Hours later, still no text from the hotel so we returned and was told by another clerk that it was still not ready and nothing could be done. Not happy with this lack of service, we spoke to another front desk associate, Farnaz. She was fantastic. She addressed the situation immediately, had our room ready within 10 minutes and followed up during the day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. A true professional and class act. Loews Chicago is very lucky to have her because our stay and review would have been very different if it wasn’t for Farnaz.
