Extremely Unprofessional – No Room Provided Despite Full Payment
I had a terrible experience at this hotel. When I arrived at 5:00 PM with my family of four (having prepaid in full), the front desk told me they had no room available due to overbooking and room cleaning delays.
I was given two unacceptable options:
Take a room missing a sofa bed (despite booking for 4 people), or
Wait in the lobby with no estimate of how long.
When I questioned this, another male staff member got involved. I pointed out the check-in time was clearly stated as 3:00 PM, but he replied: “3:00 PM doesn’t actually mean the room will be ready.” His tone was rude and dismissive, and he made it seem like I was being unreasonable — even though the hotel was at fault.
He tried to force me to accept a room that didn’t meet my booking, without apology or any effort to resolve the situation properly. Only after arguing did they finally give us the correct room.
This was an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience. Overbooking is the hotel’s responsibility — not the customer’s. Staff should never blame guests for management failures. I do not recommend this hotel.
