QUEEN OF CALITZDORP - A TRUE OASIS!
We arrived on Xmas day and the restaurants in Calitzdorp were closed. On check-in, we were presented with a delicious cold platter of cold cuts & cheeses, home-baked bread and other little delicacies for dinner. This kind of thoughtfulness is what sets the Queen of Calitzdorp apart. Thank you for Leanne and your staff!

Second visit to Queen of Calitzdorp and still a gem! If possible ask for one of the rooms facing the mountains for a lovely view. Excellent breakfast served.

Pleasant comfortable stay
The Soa is just 15 minutes away out if town. The Rose of the Karoo was great for supper and we enjoyed wine and port tastings at the wine cellars in town. The Queen of Calitzdorp was a perfect base. Clean, excellent service, nice breakfast and beautiful place to stay.

What a wonderful place...
We had a short but wonderful stay at "Queen of Calitzdorp". We got an upgrade and had the room with the probably best view of the mountains. The rooms are very well-equipped, the pool area is super nice and the garden has lovely flowers smelling wonderfully. The breakfast is freshly made according to your wishes- simply fantastic! Absolutely recommendable...
