Huone oli siisti ja ihan riittävän kokoinen. Sängyssä oli ainostaan yksi peitto, mikä oli hieman hankalaa, koska yövyimme huoneessa 15 vuotiaan tyttäreni kanssa. Äänieristys oli heikohko. Naapurihuoneen äänekäs keskustelu kuului ja aamulla käytävässä paukkui kovaan ääneen hotellihuonettamme vastapäätä oleva ovi, jonka epäilen olleen siivoojien taukotila. Korvatulpat mukaan siis. Aamupala oli hyvä, runsas ja monipuolinen buffet, siitä ei mielestämme puuttunut mitään. Hotellin sijainti on hyvä, Russel squaren underground on kulman takana, Govent gardeniin ja Camden towniin on 10 min kävelymatka. Lähistöllä on asuma-alueen kotoisa ostari, jossa on mm. iso Waitrose supermarketti ja ruokapaikkoja.

Hot room
Checking in was quick, efficient and friendly and the public areas of the hotel looked clean and modern. The room, although small, was clean and up to date, especially the bathroom but it was very hot. This and the fact that a lot of the main TV channels didn't work properly is the reason for the lost stars. We opened the window as much as we could and being on the 6th floor we could leave it open all night but considering it was February the room was way too hot. The radiator was not on either. There was a fan in the wardrobe but as we were only there for one night we didn't bother to plug it in but it really did feel like it needed aircon. The location is excellent, less than 5 minutes walk from Russell Square tube and only 15-20 minutes walk from Oxford Street and the Kings Cross area. Green space of Russell Square nearby and also Brunswick Square which has some great London Brutalist architecture and a small mall with some lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend the Fortitude bakehouse for coffee and pastries for breakfast or lunch - seats on benches outside or takeaway.

Les chambres sont petites mais fonctionnelles et propres Le petit dej est varié Par contre - le ménage est fait qu un jour sur deux sans en être informé - l‘hôtel juste en face était en travaux on a été réveillé tous les matins même le samedi matin !!! Aucune information lors de la réservation et aucun dédommage proposé

Great location
Excellent hotel great location just a 5/10 minute walk from Euston. Russell Square tube station 2 minute walk, British Museum 5 minute walk and Covent Garden a 20 minute walk. Rooms are very nice staff friendly and welcoming and the breakfast is a buffet style but there’s plenty of selection. Also the hotel puts entertainment on at the weekend which was a bonus.

Value for money and great location
We returned to The President because it ticks most of our boxes. It's comfortable, clean, good service, good breakfast and the location is great for our needs. Just round the corner from Russell Square tube station and some nice places to eat. It makes a great base to explore London. There is still some building work going on at the back of the hotel which can cause some noise but only through the day when you're likely to be up and about. This was the same as last years stay. They have been refurbishing the hotel rooms as well.

Very comfortable stay, easy checkin, nothing too much trouble from the staff. Beds lovely and comfortable. Lovely clean room. We visit London every year, usually October, this was an impromptu visit. Will definitely be booking for our usual trip in October.

Très bon accueil, très propre, très bien placé. Excellent petit-déjeuner, très complet. Accès au dernier étage assez difficile avec des escaliers très étroits. La chambre était petite mais propre et confortable. Calme, aucun bruit la nuit.
