I come to Phoenix often and stayed in the area at other hotels. I always wanted to stay at element because it says by Westin and I always had nothing but 5 star experience at Westins and Marriotts. The front desk was nice during check in, but nothing memorable. They did not mention no room cleaning policy which I found out the next day when I inquired. Wheh we needed an extra blanket and fresh towels, they did send it up promptly.
Room wasn’t very clean. There were dirty spoons, stove, dirty floor and hair on the bedsheet. Who knows what else they didn’t clean properly. One of the light switch was broken and falling off, lots of stains, chipped tiles etc in the bathroom. Big stains on the window cover which makes it look gross.
The bed was ok but the pillows were very uncomfortable. Way too soft. There was nowhere to put anything in the shower.
Breakfast on the go was good. There was scrambled egg with cherry tomatoes and guacamole and Greek yogurt to mix with fresh fruits, granola etc which were nice.
Great location. Walking distance to chandler mall and other shopping areas and restaurants. Fitness center is nice too.
Overall, I won’t return because of cleanliness and room condition.
