Close to town but a bit dated

Room was nice and cool during the hot summer as it is in a narrow coutyard. Good location. Internet not very fast, max 50 mbps. Room was very small and dated. The shaggy rug to cover the worn fwood foors do not help. Shower showed mildew.

Great location in old town. No air conditioner but there was a fan in each room. Breakfast was not included. Most other hotels we stayed in around Romania had breakfast included with hotel price. It was $10 per person here

Honest review of stay

I'll start with the bad points first - NO PARKING - Don't trust the hotel infomation when it says parking is available outside the hotel. We were driving around for more than 30 minutes trying to find somewhere to park. In the end, we found somewhere a 10 minute walk away for 1 Lei per hour (make sure you carry change or download the app as suggested on the pay machine - No notes accepted). UNCOMFORTABLE BED - While I can't speak for all the rooms as I didn't see them, the standard room we stayed in had the most uncomfortable bed. The mattress needs to be replaced as soon as possible, there's a huge dip in the middle making it impossible to have a restful night's sleep. NO AIR CON - I'm really glad it wasn't too hot because there's no way we could have stayed there. There was only one window and it was up high above the door, which only opened partially (Room 10 by the way). Unfortnately I cannot comment on the breakfast, I saw pretty poor reviews for the breakfast so we decided to eat somewhere in town instead. We weren't offered any refreshments though but that's not the be all and end all. So... to the good points - the place was very clean. If you're worried about cleanliness, look no further. The staff were nice. It's a very basic hotel, but clean nonetheless. If you're looking for somewhere to lay your head for the night (albeit uncomfortable) then this hotel is fine. Don't expect 5 star comfort and service. The place is average at best.

Close to square with big rooms an nice bathrooms

Great location only one block away from the old town square with tons of shopping and restaurants. The rooms, while old, are really big and bathrooms in both rooms I rented were newly updated and very nice. The only drawback is the parking, which can be very difficult. Since the location is so close to all the action, parking can, and is, tough. But after circling the block about 6 times, we finally found a spot.
