Spend a little more, and go somewhere else
Honestly really upset about this stay. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we decided to book this place as we typically do not stay in resorts. While the pools/location were definitely ideal, the staff were very unhelpful and looked sad to be there. Makes you think how little they’re paying their staff. Also, all of the empty drinks/plates that were by the main pool areas, weren’t bussed for hours, leaving you responsible for picking up after others if you wanted their spot once available (not enough chairs in general). Not sure why nothing was being cleaned (for a week stay by the way) but the hotel wasn’t necessarily understaffed. Also, the food was not good at all, definitely better food and safer food options at other hotels. By safer, I mean the fact that they hosted a pad Thai night where the fish that was meant to be cooked was just laying out in warm water while it was 80+ degrees for hours, pretty gross and unsanitary if you ask me. Don’t recommend unless you’re only there for the pool/location. Wish we spent a little more and went somewhere with better hospitality, and cleaner pool areas.
