probably not staying again
So I usually do not write in reviews, so this is what I want people to know. Upon getting there, there is NO HANDICAPPED way to get in the building to check in, I didn't need one, but some people do, so I wanted to mention it! There is a handicapped way in AFTER you check in the building and walk up the flight of stairs. This is an old apartment building not a regular hotel. It does have an elevator. Our room looked like a 1bedroom apt. bathroom on one side with a bed, bed on the other side with a small kitchen NO PLATES or way to eat. Just a fridge, 2 small burner stove and microwave. This is the kicker IT IS 20.00 EXTRA DOLLARS A NIGHT TO PARK, OR YOU WILL GET TOWED! This is not a nice part of town, homeless outside every night we stayed (4) there is a sign inside the room door saying for your protection lock and deadbolt the door when inside. So traveling with my high school son, I did not feel the safest. Breakfast was sausage patty/eggs and biscuits and gravy. Beds were not that comfortable and I could not figure out how to turn the heat up. Bathroom is very small, not handicapped accessible. The shower curtain did not go down to the floor so the floor flooded when you took a shower. There was also no hairdryer in the bathroom. Glad the trip was over, some anxiety having to return after work in the dark, in that area. I will drive farther next time for a better location and free parking. Parking cost us 80.00 more
