Checking in at 10:30 pm Sunday night, there were sketchy looking men in and out of the lobby, but ending their "business" or leaving when we walked in. The clerk greeted us with "What?" No 1st floor rooms available, but there's an elevator (smells of urine and pot). Open our 3rd floor door but theres a couple inside and a chain across the door. They emerge a couple minutes later and tell us they'll go speak to "her," absolutely no luggage or anything in hand. My husband went back to get another room, they never appeared. Clerk had no explanation but didn't seem surprised. Our next room smelled like cat pee, no bath towels, and the shower sprayed all over the bathroom ceiling, walls, toilet, everything.
We checked out early (couldn't stand 5 nights of that) and Expedia says because they couldn't contact the manager within 72 hours, they cannot refund our payment for the nights we didn't stay.
The whole property smelled dirty and enough people smoke (pot and otherwise) outside the non smoking rooms that it comes right into the room. It appears people living in their car park at the hotel. What a shame.
