Couldn’t rate the staff as we didn’t see any. Self check in was good apart from the main front door being so stiff, especially from the inside to get out on the first day. Sunday night was a quiet stay so maybe there weren’t many in.The Monday night was an awful stay at night because the room above was occupied and we heard every single step they made, every toilet break, when the shower went on and every time a door shut, it just slammed. They weren’t being loud, it’s just you hear everything, thin walls and floors from an old building I guess, so the top floor is better to stay on I’d say. Nowhere in the walking area for food on the Sunday evening. Apart from porridge pots in the rooms there are no breakfast facilities until 10.00am. The bathroom is lovely. It’s warm but the toilet needed a good bleach. The toilet itself was clean but the stand and surrounding floor of the toilet needs a good clean, it smelled of urine. The bedroom carpet needs a good clean too. Quaint little room, clean sheets and clean towels and good provision of tea and coffee facilities. My daughter stayed on the day bed and I had the double bed, so plenty of room in the triple room for the two of us. Nice touch with the chairs overlooking the little garden opposite. Good tv access but the wifi needs a boost, it kept cutting out. It’s was a good stay for the price you pay. One suggestion because there are no food facilities after 4pm Sundays or early breakfast, a mini fridge would help.
