Would stay nowhere else but here
We were a group of 3 celebrating a bride-to-be and everything about this place was fantastic!! From being served breakfast to easy/ safe access into BnB after hours was perfection. Albert, the host, was such an amazing add on it made our stay more magical. We were here during a race weekend but nothing hindered us from coming or going by car. Walking was also such a plus. This location had amazing areas to have easy access walking to and River Street was always between a 6-7 minute drive. 11/10 recommend would stay again! No loud traffic noises and all the guests staying with us were quiet and respectful during specific times.

Cannot fault the whole package
We stayed for 5 memorable nights in The Stephen Williams House. Doctor Al was the perfect host and he is a great ambassador for Savannah. Breakfasts were old family recipes which Dr Al explained the background. Therefore unique and tasty. Rooms are amazing - get a suite if you can. Great location. Would not hesitate to stay here if you are visiting Amazing Savannah.

Southern Charmer
This bed & breakfast was wonderful! Breakfast was different each day and was comprised of a Georgia recipe that was at least 100 years old. The owner is full of stories and recommendations for site seeing in Savannah, and the entire experience was top notch! We enjoyed a beautiful weekend in historic Savannah close to all of the various locations and tours. It was amazing!

My mom and I stayed for 3 nights at the Stephen Williams House. We’d never been to Savannah before and it was a great spot for our adventures. The charm, the gardens, and the caretakers of the house make the experience amazing. While it’s technically not right in the middle of the action, almost everything we wanted to do was within a 15 minute walk. Ubers and Lyfts are plentiful and quick.

We had the best stay at the Stephan Williams House! I could not recommend it enough. Doc was wonderful and so helpful throughout our stay. The house and courtyard are beautiful and very clean. Delicious southern breakfast served daily. The location is perfect, so we never had to use our rental car in the city (which stayed for free in the parking area behind the house). This place beats a hotel any day if you are looking for a truly authentic Savannah experience!

Best Bed and Breakfast in Savannah!
Place is conveniently located and gorgeous. The antiques are amazing. The proprietor Doc is incredible. No need to take any historical tour as Doc knows it all. Food was amazing and each dish had a story! This is a wonderful alternative to a stuffy hotel room.

The owner and host, Doctor Mall, is wonderful. The house is beautiful and full of wonderful antique furnishings. Each morning breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room. Doc has something distinctly Southern placed in front of us and he tells us the story behind it- and it is a treat! There is free off street parking behind the house. When in Savannah it will always be my choice of lodging.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner Dr. Albert Wall (Doc) who made me feel right at home. The B&B itself is a picturesque home tucked away in a corner of the Historic District. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful 100-year-old garden. We stayed on the garden level in a cozy room with everything we needed. The shower was great! One of the highlights of our visit was the delicious breakfast served each morning. Doc is not only a gracious host but also a talented chef using recipes that were very old & very southern! While serving breakfast he gave us recommendations for local attractions brief anecdotes on the history of the area. Everything is within walking distance which was great. We highly recommend this charming B&B for your next escape to Savannah.

This is an historic property wonderfully maintained and outfitted with lovely period pieces. As expected some rooms are small. Breakfasts involve historic recipes. The secret ingredient is the proprietor Doc who knows all the history as well as helpful hints for tourists.
