I got to New York once a month on business. This was a great place for me to stay loved being in Chinatown. Easy commute to the office. I’m a native who relocated I would say for tourist. It may seem out-of-the-way, but you’re right at the base of the Manhattan Bridge. You can pop right over to Brooklyn.

Hammer holes in the sides of the closet and wall, TV was about to fall off of the wall, front desk appeared to be waking up from a nap every time we called or came down. AC was cold, room was moderately acceptable.

A good, fairly cheap place to sleep. Small rooms and no real amenities but clean. I had no issues with it.

A very inexpensive safe and clean option near Chinatown and Canal Street. Close to the subway. Definitely no frills but that's why it's so incredibly affordable. We would definitely come back.

We arrived late due to a train delay and was happy to see someone at the front desk at midnight. The room is small, the comforter had holes in them, the windows would not shut properly, but the AC was strong and we were happy to settle down after a long day of travel. We only stayed there for one night (and about 8 hrs total), and I'm happy with it based on the price I paid. There are places to get breakfast in Chinatown within walking distance. It would be best for someone on a budget and/or someone with a relatively short stay.

Small and humble with small rooms but renovated. No breakfast served but the lady at the reception helped us with a cattle to make a coffee at room, it could be a plus having a cattle and fridge in the room but would survive for a couple of days not longer. The location is not the best.
