Hotel West Plaza
"Great!"
Ibis Tijuana Zona Rio
"Ibis is located in the middle of town. Staff is very nice. The valet person was awesome. He alone deals with all the cars coming in and out. He has a great attitude, even in the pouring rain."
Holiday Inn Tijuana Zona Rio by IHG
"All was great !"
Quartz Hotel & SPA
"This was our 5th time at this property this year. The hotel is perfectly located in Zona Rio and is close to border. It’s super clean, the staff is friendly and bilingual and the healthy breakfast choices that are included is a cherry on top!"
Hotel Indigo Tijuana Downtown by IHG
"This is a fairly new hotel and feels as such. As nice as the view is to have an all glass corner room, the noise from nearby clubs required me to sleep with your plugs in. I think going for a different side of the hotel or an even higher room might help with the noise, but honestly, the view was worth it. I love the location of this hotel as it is pretty centrally located. It is also right on Revolution Avenue so there are plenty of things to do right outside the door. I hope to have an excuse to come back to TJ soon and stay here again."
Hotel Principado Tijuana Zona Aeropuerto
"Good place breakfast was light but it was a good place to spend the night. Had parking but no elevator. Overall good place"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Tijuana
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Tijuana is during January, November, and December, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those looking to explore the city's key landmarks, cultural sites, and historical attractions, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to enjoy a variety of budget-friendly experiences, including shopping, lively music venues, dining at local restaurants, dancing at bars, sipping coffee in quaint cafes, and appreciating the art scene, as well as visiting notable churches and the stunning cathedral. With the possibility that prices may drop during these months, Tijuana offers great value for money for those travelling on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For Tijuana, you may discover hotel deals when you visit Hotels.com's DealsOpens in a new window section, where savings on hotels near your travel date could be available. Checking the Last-Minute Deals may also reveal opportunities for discounted stays if rooms become available or prices drop. Furthermore, the Smart Shopping tool on the app helps you compare hotel prices and amenities, allowing you to make well-informed decisions for potential savings.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could assist you in finding a more favourable rate for your stay in a Tijuana hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you discover a more appealing rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, with Tijuana's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that is still well-linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
