The price is what sold us. Service from front desk was nice. The room was dirtier than average and had limited amenities. The breakfast that comes with the side restaurant felt like an afterthought in terms of content, service, and environment. Front desk says restaurant can't send drinks for in-room service. Restaurant is actually a nightclub from 2-5am where the noise will definitely keep you awake. Can be inconvenient to get around to other parts of the city.

The lobby is beautiful but that is about it. The basic amenities were 1 tiny bottle of shampoo, and 1 tiny bottle of body wash. Conditioner was chargeable. Better to get a full sized bottle of shampoo, conditioner and body wash from a "nearby" mall (more than 30 mins drive away) instead. Mould surrounded shower and sink area, sink was decolourised and well-used, towels had holes and the hems were all tattered. Had to call housekeeping for missing towels daily. Had a kitchen but pointless coz not even a single cutlery could be found. Had a washer and dryer in the room but had to run the dryer 7 rounds to dry the clothes. When given feedback, staff said that "not all guests wanted their clothes fully dry" - what? They want to wear/pack damp clothing? Breakfast selection did not reflect a "luxury" hotel as boasted, but instead was that of a star-less hotel. Even a boutique hotel can do better. Same food selection daily was an overkill to paying for it. Bed was squeaky and bed linen was torn. Floorboards were equally squeaky and uneven. All in all, Metropole has seen it's good days but it's time for a major overhaul to survive.

They need to update conditions of hotel on the web

Not so good property under construction. Nevertheless, the pool and fitness center was unavailable for use. No clean towels upon arrival. I had to pass this mess every time I left my room!

All the splashed water to the bathroom wall came out to the bathroom floor when showered. So the whole bathroom floor was wet then spreading wet footsteps the whole bedroom.

The pool was dirty. Bearly a gym. Overpriced bar and weed shop. No pans or dishes in our suite. So no point in a stove or kichen sink. Drains did not work well. The balcony was dirty and not groomed well. Lights outside did not work. Definitely a 3 star hotel running other businesses. Not 4 stars at all!

Not sure why this property is marked so high? Upon arrival our hopes were high, as the lobby had a charming rustic feel and they gave us a beautiful flower/swan arrangement in the room. Those hopes quickly diminished. Upon check-in we were given no information whatsoever besides “here are your keys.” No information about breakfast options, the fact that they DON’T have a restaurant (just a bar), where the pool or fitness room were located, or the fact that that have a “men’s only?” spa and oh yeah, a night club that bumps blaring music until 4am every single night. Not only that, our room was located on the side above the club- please put future long-term guests in a room FAR away from the club as it woke us up every single night. There was water damage on the wall of our room by the bathroom, the bathroom doors wouldn’t even close all the way, so no privacy, and the shower design was so poor that the ledge filled with water and ran out onto the floor every time you shower. The “kitchen” was not stocked with anything, not a single thing that could make it a usable kitchen. And, the laundry machine was not provided with laundry soap. We stayed 6 nights, and even stayed at another hotel for 1 night that was better. We have traveled all over the world and this hotel rating does not live up to its standards of 4.5 stars. We have pictures of all of our room complaints.

5つ星かと言われると不相応かもしれませんが、コスパ良く一定の水準はクリアしているホテルだと思います。アメニティとして、歯ブラシはありましたが、シャンプーなどはないため持参する必要があります。また、連泊しましたが、バスタオルは交換されないため、自分で洗濯して乾燥または干しておく必要があります。

The hotel is dirty and run-down

Das Hotel ist in einem erbärmlichen Zustand. Die 5 Sterne sind ein Witz. Das gesamte Hotel ist ungepflegt, dreckig und die Mitarbeiter sind dementsprechend motiviert. Das Frühstück besteht 3 chevys in denen essen warmgehalten wird sowie Saft und Toast. Unabhängig von der unterirdischen Qualität habe ich noch nie so mieses Frühstück in einem Hotel gehabt. Ich wollte das Hotel aufgrund der Lage und des Preises testen. Dies war ein Fehler. Ich kann nur abraten das Hotel zu buchen. The hotel is in a deplorable state. The 5-star rating is a joke. The entire hotel is unkempt, dirty, and the staff are accordingly unmotivated. Breakfast consists of three chafing dishes keeping food warm, along with juice and toast. Regardless of the abysmal quality, I have never had such a terrible breakfast in a hotel. I wanted to try the hotel because of its location and price. This was a mistake. I can only advise against booking this hotel.

Feels like a former 6 star hotel that's still fantastic, just a touch dated, however fantastic still. Little things like the digital light switches don't work perfectly and are a bit touchy. The furniture is so cool, and the room layout is excellent, the pool is basic as is the gym. The Sauna and Spa would be excellent however I couldn't easily figure out how to use them and I doubt the water heats up immediately. So the features and feel are really cool, just feels like a few things need to be maintained. Cheers

I was staying there on a Monday night, and there was very loud music coming from somewhere. I called the front desk and asked them where the very loud music was coming from and they told me coming from their very own bar. They said the owner really liked having the bar open to 4 AM every night. . So I got very little sleep. I wouldn't stay there again.

Saturday night disco was unreasonably loud. Bass thumping through the walls till 4am. I slept well but definitely not for travellers sensitive to noise.
