Nice Stay
We really enjoyed our stay at The Hoxton. Having read some negative reviews, I was apprehensive about our stay but we would return without hesitation. The room was beautifully decorated and quiet with the only negative being the lack of hanging space, which wasn’t a huge problem for a short stay. The bed and bedding were really comfortable and we slept well throughout our stay. The shower was good as was the hairdryer. Breakfast was great and service was generally good although we did have to request twice for the room to be serviced as this is not done as standard. It was always busy downstairs with people working on laptops (not hotel guests), which didn’t particularly bother us but it’s not easy to get a seat for a drink. The location is great with easy access to metro stations but we were able to walk most places with many restaurants, bars and shops nearby.

Honestly, underwhelming
It’s probably my third time in this property in a few years and by far this was the most underwhelming. Too expensive for what is offered: lack of housekeeping (unless you ask for), no hangers in the bathroom (looks like there was a hanger in my bathroom that fell off at some point and was never replaced), cramped common areas, a lot of door slamming… Maybe I’m getting old?

We booked this hotel thinking it would be smart and comfortable. Whilst the room was perfectly fine, and the staff were friendly, the public areas were filled with 20 to 30 year olds who did not appear to be hotel guests, on laptops at all times of the day, in every available chair seat and bar stool. There was absolutely nowhere for us to go in the hotel to relax and have a drink. We were very disappointed.

Sehr schönes, modernes Hotel in toller Lage. Personal freundlich und bemüht. Leider in der Nacht durch Partymusik im Hof sehr sehr laut. Feines Frühstück, Service etwas überfordert. Bedienung dauert sehr lange. Insgesamt aber schöner Aufenthalt in Paris.

Nice stay and cool vibe. However, rooms were much smaller than expected and had no storage for clothing other than 3 hangers for short hanging above safe. No shelves or drawers. Barely enough room to open suitcases. Staff nice, but could have used concierge.

Great hotel. Room maintenance/cleaning is far from optimal. You have to opt in to get the room refreshed and replenished with water/tea/coffee/ towels/ bin clean and it might only be done at 5.30pm. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Fun vibe in the hotel…doesn’t feel like a hotel but a place for trendy people to come and ‘work’ over coffee. Breakfast staff were great and breakfast menu really good. Had to wait 2 hours post check in for our room to be ready which was frustrating…getting the room serviced and ‘checked’ was the problem. The hotel needs to invest in more staff to service the rooms.

Highly overrated. Will not return.
Our stay at the Hoxton Paris was disappointing. The courtyard and restaurants are certainly a draw, but the room was highly uncomfortable and housekeeping was deeply lacking. We stayed in the largest room type, thinking it would offer the best experience, but this was the worst hotel we've stayed in in years. The bed, which was a king but with queen pillows (so odd) felt old and too broken in, towels were stained, and the room smelled like an ash tray every day. Housekeeping, which is by request only, barely tidies, and didn't even replace essentials (toilet paper, tissue, fresh mugs) -- we had to go down to the front desk every night to ask for these. It was a frustrating and uncomfortable stay. Definitely not worth the price tag.

The lovely architecture of this hotel was inviting and welcoming after a long journey. The hotel staff were friendly and so understanding. From the moment I opened my hotel room door I was delighted with the room decor and comfort. I was on the first floor with high ceilings and a patio to myself. The room was so clean and well decorated to make me feel at home. A lovely surprise in the bustling city of Paris!

Hotellets personale udviste et højt niveau af service og var utrolig søde. Værelset var stilfuldt indrettet og der var utrolig rent. Virkelig gode madrasser med tilhørende lækre store dyner. Når vi efterspurgte et eller andet, kom de løbende med hvad vi manglede indenfor 5-10 min. Hotellet havde en fantastisk stemning tors, fredag og lørdag med drinks og god musik.
