    The Città della Scienza (City of Science) was built as part of a restoration of a large industrial area in the Bagnoli district, and is now one of the city's main attractions. The permanent exhibitions in this trove of scientific discovery include a fascinating interactive museum with exhibitions on the human body, a marine environment, insects and a planetarium.     Funimondo Adrenaline Park

    Moving from rope to rope with balance, strength and bravery

    Funimondo Adrenaline Park in the Agnano district is a one-of-a-kind adventure park made up of ropes, cables and boardwalks.     The Little Ones' Theatre

    Being small is great!

    The Little Ones' Theatre (Teatro dei Piccoli) is an interactive space that's entirely dedicated to culture and fun for the little ones. The inviting theatre hall seats 450 people and puts on shows, concerts and film screenings. The events mainly take place between October and April.     Italy's first amusement park: vintage rides and futuristic attractions

    Edenlandia in the Fuorigrotta district is another great place for a family day out.     Naples Zoo

    One of the most amazing animal parks in the world

    The Naples Zoo (Zoo di Napoli) opened in 1949 and immediately gained international fame both as an all-age entertainment facility and as a centre for quality scientific research and awareness. This state-of-the-art facility extends over a 100,000-square-metro area where animals are not confined to cages, but roam as freely as possible in open spaces.     Naples National Archaeological Museum for kids

    Archaeology doesn't have to be dated!

    The Naples National Archaeological Museum (Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli) is one of the world’s most important classical antiquity museums and is always worth a visit. If you have children there's even more reason to go. Every third Sunday of the month in winter and spring, MANN organises a series of creative workshops, educational games, film screenings and guided visits aimed specifically at small children. The varied programme includes events like a photographic safari, where kids photograph mythical creatures, an Ancient Egyptian jewellery workshop, a Magna Grecia pottery class and a Lascaux cave murals workshop. Every Sunday there's also a regular storytelling event where you can hear legends of athletes and gladiators, followed by role-play games. Don't worry, you won't have to fight any lions!

    Donnaregina Contemporary Art Museum for kids

    Contemporary art through children's eyes

    The Donnaregina Contemporary Art Museum (Museo d'Arte contemporanea Donnaregina) is based in a magnificent mansion in the heart of Naples' city centre and is a well-known exhibition centre that focuses on educational activities for children and families. Thanks to the museum's Educational Services, Famiglie al MADRE (Families at MADRE) workshops have been put on every Sunday since 2018. During the workshops, children and parents can discover the process of creating and interpreting works of art, under the guidance of expert instructors.     Lilloland

    Welcome to the home of Lillo the crocodile
