Blakely New York

The noise level from the street is astounding. I know it’s not the hotels fault but having rubbish trucks, flower lorries, frozen goods trucks in the middle of the night at 3am to 5am with poor insulated windows is not funny. I can hardly sleep every night. The security guard actually knows me cos I go down for smokes during these deadly hours due to the noise. The other thing is the queue at the restaurant next door isn’t helping to keep the noise level down as well. The patrons block the door and making a racket while waiting. I truly think the windows need a rework to keep the noise out

We stayed for five nights for a Thanksgiving trip for our 10 year old daughter named Blakely! The hotel is close to everything including all the attractions from Central Park to Times Square! There is a subway line right there as well. The rooms were large for New York and was comfy. This hotel is very similar to a English bed and breakfast very quaint. They set up transport to airport which was afforable. Breakfast was fine and a good basic start to day. There is a fab deli on corner of 55 th and 7 th too that we loved Premier Deli as well as a Starbucks. Really good value and a perfect stay. And note: we literally walked out and down 55 th to 6 th and watched parade. So easy and we could pop back to use restroom if needed!!!

The rooms are pretty comfortable may need an upgrade Cleanliness pretty good Service needs to boost it up a notch

Great location. Central to everything. Subway nearby. Staff were friendly and courteous. Stay was great. Don’t think twice as you won’t go wrong with this hotel!!!

Old time elegance, great service with front desk and concierge. Wonderful room!!!! Bravo. Only challenge: Breakfast next store was just so-so and not worth it.
